Organelle:any of a number of organized or specialized structures within a living cell
Cell wall:Protects and supports.
Cell Membrane: controls what comes in and out of the cell, it also protects the cell.
Vacuole: stores water and food.
Nucleus:Control center of the cell and directs protein synthesis.
Endoplasmic Reticulum:Forms compartment and vesicles, synthesis and modification of proteins and lipids.
Golgi Apparatus:packages proteins for export, forms secretory vesicles.
Vesicle:Stores and transports subtances.
Lysosome: removes waste and they contain digestive enzymes.
Mitochondria:Carries out cellular respiration, produces ATP, and is the energy source of the cell.
Chloroplast:site of photosynthesis
Cytoskeleton: holds everything together
Centriole: cell division and mitosis chromosomes
Ribosome: makes proteins
Nucleolus: makes ribosomes (RRNA)
Central Vacuole: largest oranelle and holds water and waste
Cytoplasm: jelly like structure
Smooth ER: responsible for lipids
Rough ER: responsible for proteins
