Children with progeria usually die around the age of 14.
Progeria affects the nucleus and causes premature aging.
The symptoms of progeria are loss, enlarged head, hearing loss, joint stiffness, and osteoarthritis.
There are fewer that 1000 cases per year. Children with Progeria usually die from heart attacks.
There is also adult Progeria wich usually starts around late teenage years. People with adult progeria usually die around the age of 40.
